Homeless World Cup

You probably won't believe this, but they have a Homeless World Cup every year. Don't ask how I came across this bit of information, except just assume it came from the crazy guys I work with and their endless search for ridiculousness on the web.
It seems to be a simple game of street soccer with 3 field players and a goal keeper. And with the number of homeless around the world, the number of organizations for bettering their lives, and the love of soccer (football) you can imagine it's got to be a yet-to-be-discovered awesome tournament. Check out the offical Homeless World Cup shirts (Copenhagen 2007 shirt).
What's even more awesome is that it seems that the number of homeless that get involved increase each year and decide to change their lives for the better. And they're supported by famous players like Eric Cantona and Didier Drogba. I guess soccer really is the world's game.
