You may recall one of my previous paintings, "Prayer," which was inspired by a prayer that I've been meditating on for many years. Well, that prayer has finally been answered! What I was praying about I've kept as somewhat of a secret because of its private nature. Plus, I prefer to let my audience to gain their own perspective. So I'll leave it at that.
"Answer" was an engagement gift to my, now, wife. Perhaps you can obtain a clue as to the meaning of the painting from the inscribed verses:
"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."

You may also notice some Russian words written within the painting. You'll most likely need to know Russian to read them ;-)
